The following week, she where she faced Lee in a rematch and did not win the title. Afterward, Ariana faced Lee for the Vickie Guerrero Divas Championship Invitational title Which was as well won by Lee. She was along with Naomi Natalya Eva Marie Rosa Mendes, Summer Rae and Summer Rae in July 2014 to face Nikki Bella against an uninvolved six-on-one match. She only showed up for an attack of Nikki as well as Naomi. The Battleground preview was a battle between her and Naomi. Ariana took the win. At the end of the day, it caused their rivalry. Through the summer, they wrestled at handicapped match singles, as well as tag teams.
